The Delhi Jal Board has clarified about the adulteration of poisonous substances in the water of the Yamuna river. The Jal Board claims that the level of ammonia in the Yamuna river naturally increases naturally from October to February. Water treatment plants are designed to refine ammonia up to million (PPMs). If the level of ammonia reaches two to two and a half PPMs, it is diluted by mixing water from the career line channel and Delhi sub branch.
